REST AND REVIEW
Now, without judgment review your week. This week there were times when I could truly feel that a
change for the better and a willingness to help others has developed inside of me.  Now breathe in the
wholeness of this feeling. Then breathe out the wish: May everyone experience the freedom of being part
of the change in this world.  Now, look at your short-falls. This week there were times I found myself
falling into old patterns of feeling useless. Breathe in pain of feeling you have no purpose in life and
breathe out the wish:  May all those who feel worthless return to the truth that the world needs them to
be here.  Feel free to use your own words in this practice.
DECEMBER I
CHANGE
CHANGE COMMENTARY: One never completely gets over being a Wounded Soul, but there will come a
time in your healing process when you start to realize that you are seeing things differently, the pain from
your past seems like a distant memory; you’ll find that you have put your emotional baggage in the closet
and that now you seem to be unpacking it less and less. You start to realize that you aren’t buffeted
around as much by emotions; you’ve put your boundaries in place, and now you are cultivating healthy
relationships. Suddenly you feel you have experienced a metamorphosis, and know you have actually
changed. Finally you are moving forward into your Authentic Self. The Self you were created to be.

This is the time in your life, even though you are taking care of your own needs, your heart turns towards
humanity and you heed the call of Mahatma Gandhi, “You must be the change you want to see in the
world.” You recognize that you actually have much to offer and the reason you are here is to be REAL
YOU.

Youre healed self is the change the world needs. Your art, experience, you hospitality, your compassion,
and so on, are all things you desire to share. You’ve come to recognize that just like everyone else you all
called to be part of the healing of this world. You are now a part of the ripple effect of healing that I’ve
written about many times before. And now you find it radiating out from your heart. (The video below will
give you a better picture of what I am trying to convey.)

Books that will help you become stronger in being the real you are: Living, Loving, and Learning, by Leo
Buscaglia, Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson, and Awakening Compassion and The Noble Heart by
Pema Chodron.

Now that you have come to this place in your life, my admonition us to be true to your heart’s path. You
don’t have to be a Holy Man or Medicine Woman, because in many ways you already are---because one of
the reasons we are here is to help heal the world, and of course you are part of that process. All you have
to do is be the best you that you can be, offering whatever skills you have to the healing of humanity.
Since there are no formulas to you, because we are all so individual, I will just say if you are still on this
planet it is because there is a need to be filled and it is up to you to fill it.

REST AND REVIEW
Now, without judgment review your week. This week there were times when I could truly see the ripple effect
of my impact on this world.  Now breathe in how wonderful it felt to know that you can be a positive influence
on others. Then breathe out the wish: May everyone be the best they can be and become the change they want
to see in the world. Now, look at your short-falls. This week there were times when I felt that what I did made
little or no impact on others. Now, breathe in the pain of feeling what you do doesn’t make a difference and
breathe out the wish:  May all those who feel they don’t make a difference in the world see the truth of their
importance in the world.  Feel free to use your own words in this practice.
ENDING PRAYER
May every aspect of my being be converted to Truth.
May every cell fall into place and serve a higher plan.
I no longer wish to be who I was.
I wish to be more.
